Out of curiousity, are these going in the same tank?

How many do you want? I've got a paracyp.
    Scarecrow : I haven't got a brain... only straw.
Dorothy : How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?
Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.

Thanks for the quick reply! I am not wanting all of these, just a couple of them to go in the same tank. From what I have read the african dwarf cichlids are more docile than the larger varieties. If you have an opinion please share! Would you be willing to part with your paracip.?

Daves rare fish has some a few Pelvicachromis and a collection of a few other oddballs. He has great stock and most are wild caught. His prices are decent and they are sold as pairs. I assume these are headed for your mixed African tank? I always like seeing another paracyp keeper in Houston, especially if I can upgrade my tang tank and get some offspring, lol. We keep a few tang tanks, but our only breeders thus far are multifasciatus and cyprichromis. Good Luck and +1 on Tim's fish, he has such terrific fish and a wonderful person to get anything from.

What is the best place in Houston to have a chance at finding some African Dwarf Cichlids like the types I have listed?

I would say its just a toss up, I occsionally see them at some fish stores. Most of the local stores stock kribs, and they might be your easiest bet. Most of your list is all specialty stuff and can be hard to locate without shipping them in. Ultimate Fish has a decent collection of tangs, as does Fish Gallery and Fish Ranch. I just rarely see any of the riverine African cichlids except jewels and kribs.
