  • Wanted: Java moss and other things for a new set up

so I got a call from home, my nephew made a crack on my fluval edge top.... OUCH. That new set up I've been planing on is coming earlier than expected. I will have to finish this project this weekend if I want to save my fishes as I dont know how bad the crack is. I heard it's pretty big on the top. As title suggested.

I'm looking for Java moss or Christmas Moss. Originally I planned to do an HC carpet and high tech tank.. but I dont think I can wait for that now. I'm gonna do a Java Moss carpet, and moss covered driftwood and a medium light tank with finnex ray ii fixture. Not gonna mess with high tech right now when my other fishes are in danger :(.

Hopefully if anyone can sell me their java moss I'd be glad to, I'm living in the Willowbrook area.

I'm also looking for Driftwood, a medium size one.
Also need Lily Pipes in and out 13mm, ( eheim 2215)
Any other suggestion for the new set up I'd gladly take. Thank you.

be forewarned that a java moss carpet tends to hide lots of deitrius and is hard to clean unless you pull it out and vacuum under it. good luck with finding what you need. i dont have any of that stuff that you have listed but i could offer some rotala and ludwigia cuttings if you can meet me along the beltway one evening.

I havent had good experiences with the small output LED type fixtures, but I would imagine that they would grow some. they just wouldnt be red, but they look good green too.
