Probably not the right place for this and would really be surprised if anyone has any recent information but here goes.
Apparently only one (Happy Breed Farm) or two (Jeff Liangs) in Taiwan breeds the true Red Mammon. The Happy Breed apparently comes with a certificate and a microchip. The price on a 10" fish is way, way up there. Has anyone ever tried to pull one of these fish from somewhere in the US or heard of anyone trying to pull one or had one.
Some guy in Brooklyn actually had one for sale about a year ago that was $450 and go get it in NYC--it sold.
The fish really doesn't look much different than a Fiery Phoenix Flowerhorn but apprently there are differences.
Thanks.
