Re: Paratheraps (Vieja) Zonatus & Red Devil, Red Terrors

I would be interested in the Sajicas once they are a little larger.  Would like to chat with you about the Zonatus.  Wasn't able to find very much on them on the web.  It's great to know that someone else is breeding something besides Africans in this area.

FYI - the male parent just killed the female - supply has now become limited.  I probably wont be able to breed out any further till sometime next year.

Re: Paratheraps (Vieja) Zonatus w/ fry photo

I had a spawn of sajica a few years ago and they crossed with convicts and the fry crossed with a jelly bean.............

Be carefull what you keep them with
'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust ...'
He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four-year old girl voice, 'Mom, what is butt dust?'

Justin, consider two sajica on hold for you.

A nice 'jelly bean red' is even starting to color-up on all the little fins of the males..

Thank you Multifry. Is it ok to wait when they are around 2", but if you need to get rid of them fast. I'll set up a baby tank for them.
