Did you PM Rama? He normally has them. Also, are you wanting to start with fry or adults? What price are you willing to pay?

Well I was thinking if I go with adults I can get away with fewer fish and what ever the going rate is

As far as the tank looking "filled", yeah adults are always better but as far as aggression, bigger numbers with adults are always better.

            Re: T. duboisi

Not a good idea in general but there have been instances where a small group has been stable. But why play those odds?

If you want to wait 2-3 weeks, I'll have a good 40 Dub Maswa frys available. They should be about 1.5" by then. Not sure how others experiences are, but I've noticed that troph fry are less sensitive than adults when it comes to relocating as they haven't lived in the same water for a couple years.

Call Rama -he da man !!! He takes excellent care of his fish and they are very healthy. And he will treat you right. If you've never had trophs, get 25 dub fry from Rama - they are such a joy to watch them grow up !!! I LOVE to watch them transform from fry-juvie-adults. When I don't have any babies, I start whining....I miss those beautiful spots!!!
                Thanks so much,

Even if you get some quality fry, if you don't take care of your fish they will go down to crap. It is good to get someone with healthy fish, but the history of the fish means nothing if you don't do your part.

Start with fry!!! That won't break the bank and you'll get the crowded tank look in no time.

Yea. That's your best bet. You'll get the fish count you want and you won't break a hole in your bank account. Hahaha

Rama was selling some good sized juvies for $7 each a few weeks ago. At that price, I'd be surprised if they are still available but if you havent sent him a PM I advise you to.
