I had a female that just gave birth on the 11th, 40'ish little ones swimming around right now in a mesh breeder net.  Mom didn't last the night though after going through that stress.  If you're still looking in a couple of months after I can pick out the boys from the girls, maybe we could work a swap.  A couple of your males for a couple of my juvenile males and 3-4 juvenile females.  I'd like to widen the gene pool in my 20 gal planted tank that I have my two adult males and one (now  :( ) adult female in.

Kidslikefish, if you have extras I would be interested in some as well.....we could swap since I am after the same as you, widening the gene pool.

Are your pure bred? No guppy interactions?

EK, most certainly would like to swap with you when the time comes. I got two pair from Ken, aka Islander, at the HLA meeting on the 29th. He says the females haven't seen a Guppy !!   I'm thinking it will be at least late November before I'm ready to move mine. They are getting crushed flakes 3 times a day and are eating/growing. But they started out very small, there were 46 to start with and I've removed 3 that died.

Sounds like we might need to have a HFB Endler Swap !!  Sometime in Late November / Early December ?    Anyone interested ?   Bring pairs/trios and we can find a place to meet, a LFS ?   Everyone could expand their gene pool !

edkrueger...there is a member by the name of ryzilla on Aquaticplantcentral.com selling some black bar endlers for a really good price and I have received some from him recently if you are interested. Let me know if you order from him....might want some more of the Nerites he is offering as additional purchase with the endler.

Ek, Ive been looking for a little bit of info on the nerites. Do you have a link to them? and if you are going to buy any from the guy on APC I maybe be wanting to buy some of the endlers he has.

I guess google Olive Nerites.

The order is going through....the problem with me getting fish for you is that I work an oddball shift so you would have to get it from me at work after I receive them vs. vice versa where the snails could live in the bag probably a lot longer then the fish could. We can probably work something out though.

Female #2 gave birth late last week while I was in Austin.   I dipped 8 out of the 20Gal planted and put them in the floating net with 40 or so from the first birth. I've seen a couple more swimmig in tight agaist the plants, but I'm going to leave those to see if they can make it on their own.

Mom #1 didn't survive the births, this one did.  

So I'm up to about 50 Endler babies.  All less than two weeks old.  I do want to expand my gene pool in the planted tank.  I'll keep 4-6 females and a couple of males from my fry.  All the rest will be up for trading as soon as they are big enough.  I will be out of town the week of Thanksgiving, so probably the week after that ?

Who thinks they'd be interested ?   I do want some Endlers in return, but would be open to other things also that would do well in a 20 gal planted with Endlers and platies

In case you don't get the PM response, since you didn't get the first one I sent on the nerites.  I have sent you and others several PMs in the past, you may not have gotten any of those either.  I am going to quit using PMs.  Anybody else having trouble with PMs?
