    Petsmart in Pasadena

    The Petsmart in Pasadena, off of fairmont and the beltway had all thier remaining fish at 75% off. Not a huge selection left, but there are still some cichlids, as well as barbs and tetras. I think all livebearers(or most of them) are gone. Did see a few variety of catfish also.

    The are reduced price since they are remodeling the tanks and need to sell all of them asap.

    Just thought ide let you guys know.

    Are they going out of business or are they like the Petco on Mason Rd in Katy a few months ago emptying out their tanks because they are replacing them all ?

      Yes they are replacing all the tanks... the store is a big mess

        Perfect time to go around back for the old tanks... just ask the management what they are doing with them.

          yeah they usually just throw them out, they did that at my store when they redid the tank system, Arm got a few of his that way, they are already drilled as well if you are wanting to set up a large wall. That means you Raul, or maybe Walter.

            I know when i was there i overheard one of the employees telling a customer(who seemed to be a friend) that they were throwing out the large tank they used to hold plants(the  ones with partitions). He told her noone wanted it and she could have it if she wanted. She said no.


            I think it would be a really cool tank to have. You could drill holes in the partitions, get a filter and pump and set up a cool display tank with waterfalls ect.

              I don't know about them replacing the tanks, but I guess they might have to, if that whole panel thing they're placed in does'nt come apart. They told me that they are putting in a pet motel/boarding thing in the part of the store where the fish dept. has been and they are moving the fish dept towards the back of the store [where State Line Tack was].

                Man, they are cleaned out. I had to run up there so I stopped in. I wish I would have found the sale earlier.

                  I drove by here today and, remembering this thread, stopped in.  Nothing there at all; half the store is closed off and you can't even get to the tanks.  No sale from what I saw was going on.  I guess it is over - oh well.
