  • Wanted: Where to get clown loaches

I need some clown or yoyo loaches, Large leaf plants, and some cheap peacock cichlids for my tanganyika tank.

What size are you looking for? Most LFS (Xtreme, City Pets, Fish Land, HAW) have them. And how much you willing to pay? I wouldn't expect to pay under $5 each for fish 2"+

Re: Where to get clown loaches

Xtreme has large ones only for I think $75+. City pets has more variety of sizes. Similar price range. Clown loaches are not cheap. As for yoyo loaches, I haven't seen any in the LFS nearby. Your best bet for them is from other members or ordering them online. If you get yoyo loaches, they'll be hard to flip if you decide to get rid of them. I had 3 and tried to get rid of them for $5 total. Took a long time to sell them.

                I don't think there's a LFS that doesn't sell them.
Petsmart has sales on there's with the PALs card or petperks card, whichever it is.

There's also Angelicus Loaches. I like them better than clown and yoyo loaches. HAW has some for a good price. Think it was $12 each? Don't quote me on that though. It's been some time since I was there.

Fishland has Clowns and Red Botias for 3.99 or so. along with many tangs to choose.
Go there with cash and get with Andy to hook you up and let him know your paying cash.
Maybe straight up and no tax be charged along with a discount.
If Wang was there he would hook you up.

                        Synott and Westheimer

                        Good luck johnsbra
