It's a mixture of tahitian moon sand and some cichid mix. Got it from Tim (armthehomeless) long time ago, came out of one of his old projects:)

Yes both groups. These are shellies. LOL

I haven't raised the fry, they've been in community setups. I do have two two baby Sumbus in a little tank and don't have a picture, they are slow growing.
