yeah, i've posted there as well. the only light i saw on there similar to what i was looking for is a 24" aqualight pro with a metal halide. that's a bit too short and i dont need halides.

no there is a 72" but it is m/h the guy wants $750.00

hmm..interesting. I'm looking to spend less than $300. That fixture with just power compacts/led's retails for $359. I bought the same light, but in 48" a few months back and paid $80 for it used. That size retailed for like $270. Hopefully I can come across a deal like that again, we'll see. Thanks for the heads up though.

do you have extra 10k bulbs? how old are these fixtures? do they have mounting legs?

bought them from kevin from marshreef, but now i switched to t-5 high output

If you add these together it would work out well over a 72" tank.

True, Semper offered the same set up. I'm waiting to hear back from someone and if I can't find the 72" unit used, I'd consider two 36's.
