Wanted: Community Tank Fish

So, my uncle got a free 55 gallon tank with lights. Nothing else that's worth anything. I've been spending my money to help him set it up and now he wants some fish. Looking for something low maintenance as I will only visit him once a month to help with cleaning and all that. I'm thinking some demasoni or malawi of some sort. Not looking to spend more than $50. LMK. Thanks
