  • Media for DIY filter -- free

I have a bag of bath scrubbies suitable for use as biomedia in a DIY filter for pond or aquarium.

Light green, 4" bath scrubbies, total 18... I'll guess 1.5 cuft volume

I had this great idea for a tower filter made of 6" PVC, with bottom inlet (and valve for bottom cleanout), spilling out from the top back into the pond. The tower could be covered with tile or wood bark. Never got around to it. Now I need to clean the attic -- so out it goes. Equally useful for bucket filter or Wet/dry filter for aquarium.

    Free to good home.

You are welcome to them, one other person has expressed an interest, but since it is free, I figure the first one to get here takes it.

I have PM'd you with my phone number, call me before you come by, if they are gone by the time you are ready to come this way I will let you know.

Yes, katypond, I did, and whoever can make plans to get over here can have it. But, I can tell you that I got the bath scrubbies from the dollar store, so this is $6 worth of stuff, assuming you can find them in stock at your local dollar store, check several for the ones that carry the 3-pack for $1. A great way to get a volume of media for a pond. I like that you can tie them all togther to pull out for a rinse.
