Myself and the wife got fed up of plastic frag racks, both the egg crate type and the supposedly attractive acrylic magnet racks. So....
We started drilling live rock, nice 3-4lb chunks of rock. Each rock can accommodate approximately 10-15 frags.
Trying to Guage interest in these frag rocks, they would be fully cycled figi cultured live rock with pre drilled holes to accommodate the standard frag plugs.
Thinking of pricing around 30-40 bucks for each rock, which may sound a little expensive, but for real reef rock which comes pre-prepared for little frag islands it isn't too bad I think.
Let me know what you think, if anybody is interested, pm me, I can create randomly drilled rocks or nicely organized straight row frag rocks.
Personally, I think frag rocks are 100% more attractive than the acres of plastic involved in the plastic frag rocks, but I'd be interested to have some input from other reefers.
