I just bought this from another guy on the board on a whim, probably shouldn't have done it because I didn't really need it, but... my house is full of stuff I don't really need... so what's one more filter?
The pump output wasn't as much as I expected so I got a new impeller from City Pets ($17) and put it in. It is flowing more now but I've already got a new AquaClear coming in the mail in a couple days and I don't really have room in my stand for this filter because I've got a 10 gallon QT down there too. It makes an intermittent noise when it runs, I'm not sure if it's just air or something isn't seating right or what.
It's probably a "better" filter than the AC I'm getting, but I figure the AC is going to be easier to clean without spilling water.
It comes with an Eheim spray bar, intake pipe and some miscellaneous tubing. It does not have the quick disconnect valves.
$35 OBO. I live in the Heights and work in the Galleria.
