I made a post on the facebook group but I wanted to cover all my bases:
I made a post earlier about needing to let go of my ailing pond fish but had to leave town to start summer classes before I could solidify any deals. Short story is that I started attending UT and my parents don't have the energy or time to take over the pond maintenance and water changes to keep my fish happy.
I would like to send them to a good home. They aren't in the best of shape because the the summer heat was not kind to them. My big female koi has a small ulcer on its back. She needs to have some neosporin or systemic antibiotics and TLC. 2x koi one ~14" the other around 18-20". 4x Goldfish 7-12" long snout to tail. I have some pictures. I don't know if I should ask for money since I am uncomfortable selling less than prime livestock. At the very least I would like some money to recoup the costs for some battery operated pumps and tubs for transporting the fish and also to pay for dirt and tools to tear down and fill the pond. I am leaving for fall semester in a week so I need them gone by next Saturday.
