Najas Grass for sale or trade

Hey everyone, I am in duress. I have wayyyy too much Najas grass also called guppy grass in my tanks right now. i need to thin it out some. Im not even sure how quite to messure how much i have but i have plenty. Would like to trade possibly for other plants or sell on the cheap. like a buck a ziplock bag full. i have seen it go for 10 dollars for that much on aquabid and other sites. the plant is great for fry or shrimp tanks, grows great in just about any light. i recommend low to mid because it will absolutely take over in a high light tank. i am not really looking to make money on this i just hate throwing plants away, especially if there are people who may want that plant. i added a picture we will see if it loads. (sorry it is a bit grainy, the plant is the thin stemmed kinda bamboo lookin one) and i am off today so would be good time for pickup, or possibly dilivery if you arent too far.

I would invite you out to my house but I am not going to be home until 7pm and then you could just plant it in my tank.. the only thing is that this weekend I am working on getting those tanks moved and the 75 and 70 setup.. and if you drive all the way over here.. then you should see it after its all setup.. so think sometime next week maybe :)

i can always hold some for you jesper, just remind me to bring you a bag at the next meeting. you get a whole lot for a dollar :wink:  not sure i can make it all the way out that way today, and as for planting it goes, it kinda does it itself if you let it. you can just throw it in and eventually it will send runners that plant in, its kinda cool when it does it. grows thinner in lower currents and really thick in fast currents.

I will take out the artificial plants.. and replace it with yours... and then hope the val will start growing again soon.. because I need some more forest in my wide open tank.   yes please hold some :)

I'd like some, I'm in Katy or will be in the Heights Saturday.  Since I'm in Katy I could get some for Zulaab if he likes and he can pick it up from my house.

If you still have any, I could use a nice chunk of it.  My little cories don't seem to care for the java moss - I think they'd do better with the naja.  They seem to get tangled in the java  :(  I pulled it out and now they just hide under the wood.  they pick a little at the little bit of narrow java fern, but seem a bit unhappy.
I don't have much in the way of plants for trade other than hornwort (which is loaded with scuds) and anachris.
Need some worm cultures?  baby cories?  baby kribs?

yeah i have enough for you as well Spot, maybe you bring 1 dollar to next meeting and i have for you. i have lots of hornwort and anarchris. and i dont have the time right now for a worm culture, maybe in future i get one from you. but yeah i have enough for you to get a bag.

My exp with this stuff.....


Not something that plants into substrate well....more like a floating water column plant.

With high light this stuff turns to a weed! I put a small bunch in one tank with some good lighting and it was like a hairball in my tank!
