  • WTB - Canister Filter for a 55 Gal.

Used is fine.  Doesn't have to be fancy, just functional.
I'm sure someone has one laying around in their garage/attic that is taking up valuable space.

Barring someone with what you want lying around, you might check Ken's Fish site, he's got a few specials on canister filters...I just got a Cascade 700 rated for a 65 for $56, plus shipping. Get some cheap food and stuff and the shipping gets pretty low.
Just a thought...my 55 is a much happier tank now!

Friday I'm placing an order with Kensfish.  They have pretty good deals on foods, and I've heard the earthworm flakes and pellets are just to die for!  Can't wait to dip those in fishwater and eat'm!  lol

I just got a bag of Ken's Algae wafers for my Plecos, and these are the "Meat Lovers" wafers; mmmm-ummm !
Just what I like with a cold Lager...and my fish went nuts over them. I'm gonna think twice about putting my hands in the tanks after watching that. 8O

I have been pretty happy with Ken's, prices are low and the fish love the food. All the heaters I got from him are really nice (the most expensive 250 watt was $15); and the Cascade has my water crystal clear for about $20 more than the Whisper HOB 40-60 I got from Wally World.

I buy alot of stuff from Kens.  Never thought about filters.  I will check it out.
BTW...Phil, you should know better than a lager, only a good stout with meat!
