Your Cichlids are saltwater? I talked to Brandon at BayArea Aquarium and he said that cichlids are freshwater. The starfish that I am selling is saltwater. ek was giving you the business there reefwhisperer....he has saltwater and freshwater...and definately knows the difference......he was just being ek......that's all.....
by the way....that's a very cool looking starfish.....makes me want to have saltwater....but alas only freshwater here......but one day maybe....

Funny you should mention that.
My little nanoreef is right next to my cichlid tank....though I don't have any massive stars I do have those little asternia or whatever they are called all over the tank.
The MH on my nanoreef goes out before the other tanks and my puffer is always glued to glass watching all the frantic cichlids swim around.700g Mini-Monster tankComment
