Keep the tank and have it drilled and go from there.  Aqua Zoo will drill it for you

                Re: 135 Gallon Auarium

If you drill the sides low enough you can still do a standpipe overflow. If you drill the tank high then you could go with a overflow chamber. Either way, you could still achieve the sump system you are looking for. The only drawback would be that the plumbing would be sticking out the back of the tank rather than down into the stand. That just means you would have to allow ample room between the tank and the wall to accomodate the plumbing, not really a big deal, it just makes it harder to achieve that clean look. By using 90 degree elbows straight off the bulkhead you should only need to stand the tank out 4-6", which is basically nothing.

would there be any difference with drilling it or just doing a under tank sump

Who built this tank? looks Oceanic from the photo.  Is it Oceanic Stand also?

Your asking price of $450 includes stand, tank, glass top, and light?

you also have a background and undergravel to go with this tank also?

If so, I'll take it if the tank is Oceanic and so is the stand. The trim is Cherry Oak or Dark Oak, hard to tell in the photo

                    Please PM me..

                    Thanks,

                    Geoff

Check out my site! Its shows my tank which I had AquaZoo drill the back of because the bottom is tempered. I am very satisfied witht them in the back. The price at Aqua Zoo was great and it included the overflow boxes.
