  • WTB: Microworms or Vinegar Eels or any fry food

    Hey guys n gals,
My German blue rams laid some eggs yesterday. I am hoping to have some wrigglers by tomorrow. I would appreciate if any one would sell me some fry food or tell me where i could find some. I was at Psmart today to buy some antifungal drops and they had some fry food in small tube. Has anyone tried this? Is it any good?
    Thanks

Was it baby brine shrimp in the small tube?

Spot has several cultures of worms, you might try pming her to see.

    Congrats on the eggs.

Thanks Brownsnoutuk ! Nope the BBS eggs are in a small glass tube. This was in white tube like a glue tube.  The tube felt as if it had some liquid in it.

I know the stuff you're talking about, it's liquid fry food.  does a nice job of fouling the tank, but i've used it before.  you just have to clean the tank very often.  Hikari makes one called first bites, very small and i like it bettter than the liquid stuff.  I mix with water first so it sinks for those fry that like to stay on the bottom.

I have vinegar eels, and worms - micro (sink and stay on the bottom), walter and banana.  The worms are abotu the next size up from eels, and have more nutritional value.  pm me if you still need some, and let me know which ones you want.

I live near lake houston but work in Deer Park if that makes things any easier.

Who says you can`t have it all??!!

I prefer an infusoria culture, but if all else fails you can always hard boil an egg and feed them little bits of powdered egg yoke.
'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust ...'
He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four-year old girl voice, 'Mom, what is butt dust?'
