I have a really nice convict that I'd like to place in a new home........ sorry probably too big to be a feeder :).

He/she really is a cool looking fiish. Nice and fat and about 4 or 5 inches long.

Doesn't bother any of the other fish yet. Is in with fronts, yellow labs, parrot fish, hongi and some others that I forget the names of.  I want to place him somewhere before he gets too big for my tank and I'm forced to take him to a LFS.

hahaha.  107 views so far and no-one wants this baby.   Any Ideas what I should do with him/her.   Doesn't anyone on this board raise/like convicts?

i might be interested, is it a banded (regular) or pink convict?  does it have red/orange blotches on the belly (most females will have this at 1+ inches)?  how long have u had him? what part of town are you in?  any pix?

If it's a pink one, I'd love to have it Madd and I live in your area.   (would it be okay with our Oscar?)   :P

                Re: Free fish

No sorry its not pink.  It's  gray with black stipes.  Looks really cool.  I don't know how to sex them.  So far he/she is not agressive towards any fish.......... well it does chase the large front when it gets too close to it .. but doesn't seam like its heart is into it because it gives up within a foot or so.  Does not bother any of the other fish.  No spots on the belly that I can see.

I don't have a pic but will try to get one for you tomorrw.  I'm in copperfield.  529/hwy 6 area......... i guess its considered west houston.

I think it would depend on your oscar.  So far its with fronts, yellow labs, hongi and some other fish and does fine.  since there suppose to be the same temperment I would assume they could co-habitat.

This is the type of thread that makes me wish I had a red tailed cat or an arowanna.
