Another consideration is that the two top threaded forums are General Freshwater Discussion and The Fish Market. The rift between the number of posts is not a few hundred, but a few thousand. So placing info. in the top threaded forum and in the post with some of the highest views garners it the most attention. Is the front of the tank as dark as the rest of it, or does it just look dark because of how the photo was taken?  I have an idea for it, and if you were still wanting a canister filter, I have one I could trade...but I would need to know that I would be able to see brightly colored fish through it.

My thought is to put a strong filter at one end and have several schools of small bright fish like glowlight danios....
