  • wtb****Big Tanks????

I read in a past thread that Ultimate had some 210,240 or possibly 300g  tanks in stock. I  have never been by there and just wondering if anyone can verify this.

I am realy pushing hard for a big tank now just asking what everyone has seen in the 200+ size tanks. Looking for no longer than 7' and up to 24" wide and can be upto and prefered 30" tall.   Has to be reef ready.

I stopped in the Aquarium World and they had a 210 tank and stand (RR) for around 2k. Seemed a little high to me.

Thanks for the help in advance

What are you thinkin on price and would you be including a stand.    I like that its 84 long and 30h   just not sure about 30 wide....thats alot of real estate. I was hoping for something around 24" wide but realize that i have to be open on a big tank.

                      Re: wtb****Big Tanks????

Well I had the money burning a whole in my pocket and found exactly what I was looking for. I am the proud owner of a new/used 265g   not reef rweady but the price was so silly for the tank and stand that my wife said go right now. I reached out to Alex at Ultimate and purchase one of his display tanks.  I would love to say the price but I gave my word that I wouldn't disclose what I paid.  As for the 135 and 110 tank and stand??   I will state that with the huge savings onthe 265.  I will be able to pass my savings along to anyone interested in them.  My only goal was to have enough to pay for the 265.   I will also be updating the hardware of have for sale tomorrow.    thanks again to all for  the help

ok here we go. these are the first picts. I didnt realize how heavy this pig is. I always figure things out so with a little prep work and alot of planning. I was able to get this out of my truck (11" lift with 38" tires) and into the house by myself. Well she held the doors open and guided me. No I didnt carry it. Just managed to get it to the ground and use a creeper to get it inside. My time is always very limited and just didnt have the resources or time to wait for a team of 4-6 to help me.  Anyway here are first picts

The tank looks nice... didn't waste any time getting it set up with fish in it I see!

                          What is a "creeper"?
                          Scarecrow : I haven't got a brain... only straw.
Dorothy : How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?
Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.

Thanks. I still have alot of work to completeI couldnt just sit there.

The 135 was out of trhe way and already flat so I just moved it out and started getting all the plumbing done anh then pumped the water from the 110 into 265. When that was ready I just moved my guys from the 110 right over to the 265g     IJust have to clean everything  and get the tanks to the garage and ready for the new owner (hopefully soon)

A " creeper" is what mechanics use to lay down on and roll under your vehicle. I dont have a floor dolly anymore and figured this would work and it does. I just put foam padding down for it to lay on.
