55 Gallon All-Glass w/ Handmade stand

All for $500 obo. This comes with the 55 gallon tank, cover with light, heater, black sand, and the stand. My husband built the stand himself, this thing would hold a bulldozer. It's made out of 2 inch steel angle. It's a great deal for tank and a stand that will last forever. Fish in the tank are another matter, if you want them we'll discuss price.

Second, not to knock your thread or sale but the price is a bit high for the used aquarium market so you might want to check around to see what they are going for.

Nice looking setup, but your going to need some luck to fetch 500.00 for that, but again, good luck.

Are you from California? If so what part, (I'm from the Inland Empire) and, does your hubby have the time and or interest to make more stands? There might be a few folks here on the box that would be interested in chatting with him about that...????

I'm from Northern California...up Humboldt County way.

And yes...for the right price he can make more stands. They're super strong. He copied a stand that his dad built some 20 years ago...my other 55 gallon is on it. They will last forever!

What kind of fish are in the tank?  How much are you asking for them?

I like NorCal as well, lived in Redding for a little over two years, well again, good luck on selling your 55 gallon setup.

You might wanna ask hubby about wether or not he would be interested in posting on the Box here about the stands, just an idea....create a new post in the fish equipment section if so.

In that tank is a Petrochromis Ephiphum(sp?), 2 Zebra Haps and 2 Gold sexfaciatus. The petro isn't for sale. The others $20 a piece.

I like that tank set up alot.....agree with EK that you may be disappointed about not getting what your asking for it...but then again who knows....
I want to say though i love the little chicken that you have sitting on the edge of your cuboard next to the tank......
I'll take him if he's for sale......

With the prices of steel these days, that's not too far off price wise IMO.  The other good thing is if I'm looking at it correctly, you could put a 75 gallon on top and a 55 on the inside.

Good luck on the sale nonetheless.
