  • WTB - Tidepool l or ll

I got lucky with this ad last time and thought I would try it again.

I am looking for a complete tidepool wet dry filter system.  I'd like to hear from anyone who has one sitting around that they would not mind parting with.

Give me a shout if you have one.

    Thanks

we can make a tidepool with a plastic tote, a plastic 3 draw bin and a pleated water filter in about 2 hr's. cost  25.00 total maybe less. I would love to do this project. call me.

I've seen the actual home made unit you refer too on the net, and I agree, it looks fairly easy, but the last actual tidepool I bought, I paid forty bucks for it and it was quick and easy......

Is this something similar to what you are talking about?

okay, that's cool....the thing I like about the tidepool is the low profile, it is relatively small and the drawers are compact, but practical, if I strike out on the tidepool, we'll do the DIY one together ...fine by you?

When I get a bigger tank one of these days I am seriously thinking I am going to be contacting you about "how to" etc to make one of these.  You have really intrigued me about this.

I'm interested as well. I was getting ready to convert an old 10gal tank for my 75gal tank. I would like to know more if you would like to share some of your ideas on a different method. I was going to make the standard trickle type using bio balls. Thanks, for the help.

Re: WTB - Tidepool l or ll

In a few months I am seriously going to change out my 75 with either a 90 or 120 using the same form factor stand as the 75 is on.
I have found tank/tops only (new) for $200 and $300 respectively.
I am going to need one of those fshfrk wet/dry's
