ok I know I spelled it wrong but I dont give a darn.  I need some though who's got them I wanna mix with me stock that I have.   I have a 75 gallon setup just for them so I need more.

Danny at Houston Aquarium Warehouse had 5, er 4,  wild caught Gold Orange males as of yesterday. I am looking for females...doesnt matter the color characteristics ..if anyone has any or knows of one I would appreciate a contact

Oh and I meant to mention...if you are open to Iniridae ( looks like all males...at least I have not spotted a female amongst them yet)...and Macmasteri both males and females. He has tanks full of them.

BTW cacatuoides are known as the cockatoo cichlid so your spelling had the essence of both scientific and popular so its cool.

Danny at Houston Aquarium Warehouse have some left at $4.50/each I believe.
I talked to Danny Friday and he said he is going to get some more in, they sold faster than he had expected.

Nothing is wrong with them..actually they are quite healthy I have found..I have mixed 20 Macmasteri and Iniridae from Danny in a 75 gal and ,all are doing well. Of course, chances are if they breed (have 1 female in full breeding colors with her own staked territory) I will have to remove them but I dont care about them breeding. I dropped the Orange Gold male with a Triple Red male in a discus and ram tank...so...

I would not look at the price as an indicator....Danny does not overprice them like Fish Gallery and Fish Ranch. More like Aquabid without the shipping added.

I know with certainty he does not have triple reds or double reds in stock. Here is a pic of my guy..more closely resembles a Red Flash or Gold Orange (Aqualog Southamerican Cichlids II p 26, bottom right)...The rest of his stock are similiar.
