  • Free to a good home

I need to thin the herd in my Daffodil colony, and Prosper already has plenty. I have several, up to about 3" size. Pick up only. LaMarque.

What are the facts? Again and again and again--what are the facts? Shun wishful thinking, ignore devine revelation, forget what "the stars foretell", avoid opinion, care not what the neighbors think, never mind the unguessable "verdict of history"--what are the facts, and to how many decimal places? You pilot always into an unknown future; facts are your only clue.

Re: Free to a good home

I am in TexasCity and I would love to have some.

The last Bachardi I had killed of everything else when they started to spawn.
          How mean are they ?
'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust ...'
He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four-year old girl voice, 'Mom, what is butt dust?'

Same as the Brichardi. They killed my 4 yr old hillstream loaches and the other pair when they began to spawn. The only fish who can handle the aggression from the alpha pair are the yoyo loaches, who are pretty mellow until the Daffodils start with the dominance games; then the yoyos demonstrate why they should be left alone. In a species colony they'll do fine. With tankmates they are terrors. The only time I've had any success with them in a community set-up was a tanganyikan tank in the 125 gal with leleupi, julies, calvus and cylindricus. Then there were so many different fish in the tank that they couldn't focus all the aggression on any individual for any length of time. Almost like having dither or target fish in the tank with the Brichardi.

                Thanks Mark

I am giving them a 15g for grow out and will eventually move them to a 40g planted tank with a rock wall.
                They are georgous.

Awesome, Bob. I didn't know if the sizes would be ok for you. I've got plenty more if you want to set up another tank.    And thank you for the anubius. That was a very pleasant surprise.
