Free Africans Cichlids! Need to go asap!

My best friend went to Petco today to find a lady holding a bag with an african cichlid in it, beggin Petco to take it because they took their tank down and Petco was their last resort for the poor fish. The store of course refused it, and my friend thought of my african tank and went ahead and took the fish from the lady. But when it arrived at my door I realized it was an Auratus. I'm not going to risk releasing it into my tank, seeing as they are incredibly aggressive, and wanted to know if anyone on here wanted him. If you have a big enough tank, I'm sure you'll enjoy him as he is really quite beautiful. Below is a picture of him in the bag.

I also have a mixed african that needs a new home. Let me know if you are interested. He changes color alot, and the photo truly brings him no justice

Please take these two, they truly deserve the best home!

The male Auratus, he's between 4-5 in



My old dominant Pat he's also between 4-5in, but a little smaller than the Auratus.

You're close to Aquazoo....call Prosper at 281-286-2238....It should be ok in a breatheable bag.

Yes I have been considering Aquazoo, I may bring them to them tomorrow, or wait to see if anyone would like them. I hate making Shannon or Prosper feel obligated to take random fish, especially seeing as one is a mix, that they may have trouble with or not be able to resale.

He is referring to that Monster Dovii that they have in the back area on the left that pretty much only eats live food....LOL!!!

Dovii's are also known as wolf cichlids.. they are large fish that once they have some size on them (after a year) you are pretty much forced to feed them feeders and those feeders are easily the size of 3-4" ..  Wolf and Jaguar cichlids are of the same family of fish and they are well know to eat each other when they are just barely bigger than fry.

i can take them off your hands i have a 150 with mixed cichlids and i dnt think theyll be that agressive
in there i have about three or four that are about 5-6 in. and one about 8-9 in. i dnt think theyll wanna be agressive to the
big one..  :) i think theyll be ok.. have lots of rocks and stuff.. i live in pasadena about 30 min. away from kemah u think we can meet up half way or somewhere..  :)

I would truly prefer them not to become food to another cichlid, seeing as one was my first african...

no theyll be good in with my other cichlids theres alot of room for them ...
no they wont be for food for other cichlids..
