I can do some of the higher end zoas I have, TUBs mystic blue acro, bits of mint chocolate chip monti, got a small colony of birdsnest, blue anthelia, med size purple tip GBTA, etc.
I would like some of the nicer stuff but I'm just afraid that my T5 lighting isn't enough. I'm supposed to be getting new bulbs for the fixture from Mihn sometime this week. The money from this tank was supposed to cover it. How would the GBTA do under T5?
4 T5's over the 30 gallon cube because I just had a hard time justifying MH. About the only thing that does decent low in the tank is a Ric that I got awhile back, so I'm almost positive that it's not near enough light for the tank. To be honest, I'm getting a little burned out with all the money that I have been shelling out. I have contemplated selling everything in it and starting something back over with a freshwater tank.
Get into saltwater, you will know a new hole in your wallet the size of the grand canyon. I'm broke and I've been trying to cut as many corners as I could and every one of them has bit me in the end only making me spend more money. That's why I'm getting tired of saltwater....LOL!!!!
Yeah a friend of mine did the same thing the people at the salt water fish stores told him it was easy and it was not expensive at all. But he found out the hard way.
