This is available for free, but don't claim it if you aren't 100% sure you are going to come get it this weekend. Â I'm available Saturday 3pm-late and Sunday all day. Â I will help you load it into your vehicle, but I cannot transport it in my car. Â Thanks!
I have a standard 55 gallon tank (48x12x18) and stand that I bought from a fellow member here. Â As you can see from the price, the tank is obviously not in perfect shape, so if you are looking for a show tank you'd be better served finding something else. Â This would do fine as a turtle tank, quarantine tank, or even a display tank if you're not too worried about appearance.
Tank - Some scratches on glass. Â Most not too noticeable, but there are a couple that are pretty visible. Â Looks to have been re-sealed. Â Has a different center brace put in, it's a thick piece of glass held in with silicone. Â Silicone work is sloppy, some excess around the corner joints, and there are a couple spots along the top where the silicone clumped up a few inches from the top and needs to be scraped off. Â If you fill it to the *very* tip top, the right front corner at the top leaks. Â I spray painted the back of the tank black with Krylon Fusion spraypaint.
Trim - Tank has brown oak trim. Â It's in OK shape, but there is some lighter brown paint splatters on it that could maybe be removed with chemicals, but I have just left it.
Stand - Pine colored stand, does not match trim on tank. Â No shelves, no doors! Â Fits the tank perfectly though. Â Not the sturdiest looking stand, but it held the tank fine while I had it set up.
Extras - I got the tank with what I believe is a 20 or 24" black fluorescent hood (the AGA kind). Â I have never turned it on so I don't know if it works, I don't know how old the bulb is, etc. Â I have lids for the tank, they are the glass-style ones with hinges, but both sides are actually made of thick plastic (maybe plexiglass?) and they need to be cleaned really well. Â I have an Aquaclear 110 HOB filter to throw in if I can find it. Â No media included aside from the Sponge.
That's it!  I'm not going to bother taking pictures since I feel I have provided a very good description of my items and I am not trying to disguise any of it's flaws.  Also it's free
Again, please don't claim this if you don't intend to get it.
