I just wanted to let people know who were going to buy my fish that they survived well.
We were supposed to exchange fish at the auction, but it has not yet been rescheduled, so I was wondering if we could make separate arrangements. I can be reached online, or by phone 713-382-3432.
I know Steve wanted a count on the fish, unfortunately, the storm upset them a bit and they keep hiding from folks in the rocks. They are healthy though, as they are all eating well. They just swim too fast when eating for me to count. What I will do is catch them and transport them in a bucket. Buy what you want, I will find a home for the rest.
Steve you wanted my pulpicans over 1.5" the red top hongi, and the red zebras, right?
Dblondefemme wanted my little ones
and Tim wants the little yellow guys.
This leaves me with 1 or two mystery cichlids.
1 adult yellow lab
If folks could let me know if they are still interested, I would appreciate it. I know that some of us had some losses due to the hurricane, so please let me know if you want them but can't take them for the moment due to tank condition.
I am looking to use the tank for some other fish of mine that are very over crowded. 17 swordtails is too many for a 14 gallon tank...so I want to move them to the 55.
Vanimal - you pm'ed me regarding my zebras - right now Steve wants them. I will put you on the waiting list for if he doesn't want them, or doesn't want all of them.
It's still a go for me on the smallish yellow labs if nobody else wants them. Glad to hear that your fish survived.
Scarecrow : I haven't got a brain... only straw.
Dorothy : How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?
Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.
Right now, yes, as I have not heard from Steve. However, I want to give him a chance to respond, because of the hurricane I don't want to sell the fish I said I was holding for him.
Kris...thanks for holding them, but let them go if you have buyers. Since I will be out of my house for at least 2-3 months, that means no tanks either
I have a few survivors that will be going to foster homes at some point....
215g Malawi Peacocks and Mbuna
180g Tropheus Ikola and Bemba and Clown Loaches
58g Bristlenose breeding and grow out
I am sorry that you can't keep fish for a while. Unfortunately, I do need to let these fish go to other homes because I have very crowded fish that are desperate for a new home in the tank that the cichlids are occupying.
I am holding onto the tiny ones for someone. Tim is getting the yellows.
Pretty much everything else is up for grabs. You are person number 3 in line waiting for them. Someone is supposed to come over tomorrow (they couldn't make it today) to buy some, someone else is supposed to answer me by phone, but really I am at a point that the first person who comes to my house with money in hand gets the fish. :)
Life has been topsy turvey for a lot of folks - my main concern is that my livebearers not be over crowded.
If you want to get some of the fish,
give me a call.
