        That tank is about 6+ years old. Longhorn was brought by Central 6+plus years ago.

        Did the guy tell you which restaurant he took it from?

          The seller, obtained it from an abandoned storage unit.

              Thats just crazy. Its hard to believe that its 72" long  because the height and depth. I am sure the pictures just dot do it justice. I had called on the tank also and guess you were there dealing with him at the time.  He said there was someone looking at it and would call me back. As if I need another tank and especialy one that big.    I am excited for you. I can hardly wait to see it up and running.
              There is no "normal" life, it's just life so get on with it.

                  From the hints and clues here I gather Robert bid on a delinquent storage unit and got this sucker.  Last I looked those units bid out at about $350.  Robert would then need to move the stuff inside the unit so he didn't get charged.  Not everyone can come take a tank off of you that fast and get it out of your way.  I'd bet Robert was happy to get what he got and didn't have time to wait till the next person to bid it up.
