I've seen both and can attest to their quality.

Someone is going to be very lucky at the auction when they win that Petrotilapia trio. Hopefully fry will be available later!

Ok...went to Austin/San Antonio yesterday and picked up some trios that will be hard to beat. Really....they are spectacular. If people don't come get them pretty quickly I'll be very tempted to put them in a display tank here at the shop. I picked up:

Otopharynx lithobates "Yellow Blaze" - The male is literally purple and the blaze runs across the whole top of the fish and is BRIGHT yellow.
Aulonacara sp. "Bicolor 500" - The male is dark irridescent blue with a distinct yellow band running vertically just behind the operculum. SOLD
Protomelas taeniolatus "Super Red Empress" - The male is BRIGHT red with a blue head. They have the best red empress I've ever seen.
Protomelas sp. "Taiwan Reef" - An overall lighter irridescent blue with some bright white highlights The body is a orange/yellow.
Aulonacara sp. "Maleri Island" - These are my favorite. The male has a blue head and the body is BRIGHT yellow. This is the line from which I obtained one of the most spectacular show fish I've ever had. THis isn't a sunshine peacock. This fish is yellow on the entire body...including the tail. It's not a yellow cast over a blue backgound as on some...it's solid yellow.
Scaienochromis fryeri "Iceberg" - This is the electric blue that everyone craves. It is the most bright blue fish you will encounter and has a bright white blaze.

I will post pics soon. I want to make sure I'm able to take pics that do them justice.
