Awesome :)   You will REALLY like the 110's...
The one reason I like Aquaclear over any other HOB is because they use a sponge, so when you do cleanings you clean the sponge and reuse it.  With almost any other filter I can think of you pull the cartridge out and throw it away.. you then have to spend money every few weeks for new ones.
One top of that many of the cartridge filters come with built in carbon and you know once the chemicals in the water has been removed then there is no real need for it to stay in the tank and can potentially foul up the water if they are kept in the tank for long periods of time.
In aquaclear's they are separate units (items) and you can remove the carbon when done with it without removing the sponge..

cool sounds good. since i already have the whisper 70, can i use the whisper 70 and the AC110? would that be sufficient

Yeah it will work for you :)
In time you will likely change out the Whisper for another 110.. but one will get you quite well going for now :)
When you see the water flow you will understand.. they are just monster filters..
Like I said in my 58 I have 1 AC110 + 1 Eheim 2213 canister filter and a Oddysea EX350 with the sponge filter attachment..
Gives my tank the water flow I am looking for.  I have Tropheus and Cyps in that tank growing out (most of the fish are still Juveniles)

Wow.... I think I do over do the filtration a bit.

              I have a 55g I am putting together...

              All-clear wet/dry rated for 125g with Eheim 1250 return
              Eheim 2217

Should have seen me trying to fit the 2262 I have under the stand to determine if that was the better route....

There is a potential.  I know of at least one or two canister filters (which would work awesome for you) that are going to be at the auction.  Potentially more.  I dont know.
