Hi everyone! I am moving in a week and have a sailfin pleco in a tank that I just don't want to move again. The pleco is about 5 inches long, and I guess I've had him for about 10 months. Right now he's in a 5 gallon tank, but he really needs at least 20+ I think. He's a pretty shy fish but does a great job of cleaning up all the algae and such. I used to have some other fish but they passed on, and I think he is lonely, too. I plan on getting another aquarium and fish at some point, but I want to upgrade my set-up and won't have the money to do so for a bit. Thus, I would like my pleco to go to a better home where he'll be happier.
The tank is just a basic acrylic with an after-market filter. The original bio-wheel mechanism broke somehow and I had to replace it, so it is not the best filter system. But you can have the tank+filter as well, even if only for transport of the pleco. Please reply or e-mail if you're interested! I'm in the Montrose area.
