WTB - 1/2 of 125g Glass Top

hello my fellow boxers
i was cleaning my 125g a couple days ago, i sat the 2 sets of glass tops on my window sill like i always do.
well my 4 year old nephew came in to look at the fish, and climbed up on my bed, and when getting down knocked the left half of the glass top off of the sill, and it hit my bed and broke into 5 pieces 8O    :evil:
but kids will be kids

so to make a long story short, i am in need of 1/2 of a 125g glass top.

the tank has a glass middle brace like oceanic, not the thin plastic strip. if anyone has 1 they can let go PM me.

You still have the hinge, knob & plastic filter trim so just get another piece of glass from any local glass company.

Take them the whole one and all the parts from the broken one and say "make this one like the other one"

But don't let him break the good one

thats the thing, my dad didnt think it was any good or that anything could be salvaged  so he threw it away 8O    :evil:  i was gonna do what your saying, but it was a little late once the garbage man took it  8O  so i came to the conclusion, either buy a whole new set 8O which will be about $60 8O  or buy a used left side, and walla 8)    so can any1 help me

I have one... but am probably too far away from you, so I'll give you another option. As opposed to buying glass lids for a 125g, get the glass lids for a 30g breeder or 40g breeder - that should be no more than $30.

Or you can do a phishphreek said and  get glass cut to the size of the one that you have left.

Actually, I do have a glass top for a 40 breeder - 18"x36" it won't fit my tanks because I have 2 HOB 60s on them (one on each end)

so if you're going to Galveston any time soon, stop by and see me.
