I have 8 remaining 100 pound bags of White Sugar Sand I would like to get out of my warehouse.
It has been determined that this sand will cause some canister and HOB filters to clog up and or burn up in some cases.
It is however, a viable substrate for those of you who can use it in tanks that will have smaller fish that do not sift thru the sand or are large enough to disturb the sand when they swim over it.
It looks great as it is, but with heavy or long exposure to lighing, this sand will grow diatoms on it, and turn a pale brown color.
If you can deal with this extremely fine/light sand, which is a real solid flat white in color, you can have a 100 pound bag of it for 10.00.
