cichlids for a friends tank

already got a few from fishlady,

would like yellow labs, blue ahli, red jewel,

other colorful mbuna

dude, from personal experience, please don't put jewels in w/ mbunas.  while jewels can be agressive mean lil SOB's they do not thrive in a malawi mbuna tank and they slowly go by the wayside.  the mbunas are stronger, faster, bigger and a bit meaner than the poor lil guys.  Just my two cents worth but it may save you a lil grief later

but I kept them Before and they worked for me

as a matter of fact my brother in law still has some of my original jewels

it really depends on the numbers

you almost have to overpopulate these type of setups and you'll  be successful
