Girlgeek and I may be able to help you out. Can you tell us a little about where you want to house them? They are pretty sensitive fish.

I have 125 gallon with couple of oscars. someone told me that they go good with fish like oscar. I first saw one in aquarium at chinese restaurant. they kept with africa mbuna, blood parot, frontosas, red tailed sharks and couple differnt new world cichlid. I like because they have marking like young duboise but body looks like jaguar cichlid I think
dang newb you beat me to it:)
yeah, city pets has some good sized ones, saw them a couple days ago and they look GREAT!
these fish seem to go pretty quick, so i would get there fast.
Couple comments. paratilapia bleekeri can be very sensitive fish. I personally would not keep them with Oscars. You don't see a lot of them at LFS's and when you do they are either expensive, in poor health or both. City Pets has some for $100 a pair. A lot of times what happens is that people buy them because they are cool looking then bring them back to the LFS bacause they are sick.
They need exceptional water quality to remain healthy and well collored. They are also very sensative to aggression. IMHO, they are some of our most difficult fish to keep healthy.

I haven't had any issues w/ mine. Actually, the one I have left survived Ike in a tank so dirty you could not see in with only a battery-operated air pump and stone. It's extremely territorial...so much so that it will ram the tank when you walk by it or look in the tank. I've always seen and therefore heard they have quite the aggression level, and Maddie (don't know the sex but that's what I call mine - short for Madagascar) doesn't disappoint. So....
