man. so many people get these cichlids because the look so awesome, but they don't realize that there is a reason that they call them "wolf cichlids". if you're gonna put one in a cichlid community I would def. recomend a female, seeing that the males can get well over 2 feet long and have a taste for other cichlids in the wild. I have a female that I got from crash83 and she holds her own very nicely with my oscar, dempsey, texas, HRP and red devil, she's prob one of the more dominate.
