I ordered my upgrades so this will be up for grabs as soon as it comes in.

This is a Tunze Nanostream 6025 with the front cover modded to increase flow tremendously. The mod is a slight removal of a deflector which does not effect function or even warranty according to the USA Tunze Rep.

how big a tank will that work in?

Depends on what fish you keepin in there and what your heart can handle

It will plaster a puffer in a 4ft tank easily.
I have it in my 6ft for my Trophs and probably a great deal more then what most would use. Probably perfect for a 4ft+ for cichlids and stuff like that.

The smaller the tank the more to the water surface you should point it.

How much gph does it move modded vs. stock?

he's in a 55.....well, it's a little bigger than a 55 ...it was specially designed by oceanic for Aquarium World's big sale last year.....so they made it a little bigger than the average 55.....

Might want to go with something like a K2 or even a K3.
