Eheim 2229 for sale

Im sure many of your have seen my threads about this filter recently. I purchased this filter offline for $100 used. It came with absolutely everything it needed including media. I put in the back of my car and when I went to get it, I dropped it on the ground and chipped a piece off of the top. according to a parts map I found, the part that broke costs around $30. I dont have the time nor the patience to go out and get the part and fix this filter. I know this filter could easily be fixed with a little effort, but I dont feel like it to honest. I am posting this for sale at $60. I dont have pics, but the part that is chipped is right where the logo is on top of the unit. for less than $100 you could have a great, powerful filter. my loss is your gain.

for how big of a tank will it work on??

Eheim rates it for a 160, but I would push it that far. the guy I bought it from ran just this filter on a 135 with 3-4 oscars and the tank looked great.
