  • WTB Nice 125 gallon

I am looking for a NICE 125 to 150 gallon tank, w/ stand, tops, and lights. I don't want to drop a S Load of $$$ on a new one, but I am willing to pay good money for a good used tank. So if anyone has one they'd be willing to part with, then let me know. Thanks, ya'll

Are you willing to go Reef Ready or stick with a standard tank?

I'm not too familiar w/ saltwater...Reef ready just means it has an overflow right? or does it mean the tank has holes drilled in it?

It means it has an overflow with holes at the bottom.

Yeah, this particular tank I have here in the warehouse has dual inside overflows with durso standpipes, and some of the plumbing materials needed to run a wet dry filtration system. You would need to either plug up the holes and forget about the overflow boxes, or get a wet dry and pump. It could get a bit expensive for you if you don't already have this equipment.

Since this is CJ's post, I'll honor CeeJay's right to decide on this tank.
                    Disclosure on tank:

The tank is an older Oceanic, with thick heavy glass. It does have multiple scratches on it, (most will be invisible when filled) it has only half of the glass lids, (the front half) it has salt water coral residue on the sides and back. It has oak trim, which the previous owner painted black.

I will try to take a picture when I get back from our fishing trip tomorrow.
