Yep, still two females holding. I'm surprised they've been on the market this long. I know I'll regret letting these guys go, but I can always get more in the future. Right now I'm trying to focus on the trophs/petros more.
Have a small tank ready for fry, say a 5-10 gallon with gentle flow from filtration, cover intake with a pondmaster sponge (from a mag drive) and strip the females when the babies are at the right size.
Look for dark eyes and wriggling motion, like they are ready to be swimming on their own.
Want to beef em up fast? Baby brine will be ideal food for them at that size or, I know it sounds odd but, Reef Nutrition has a a line of bottled foods for the refrigerator that would work awesome...Arcti Pods...not just for saltwater.
Arcti Pods are small shrimp like creatures with amazing protein and omega properties. Better than mysis, because they are a much smaller size, easy to feed ie. no messy cubes or sheets, and they have less of a tendency to film over the surface of the water because they are staying intact in the liquid suspension.
I remember working with someone that fed tropheus babies this stuff...sounds nuts but they grew faster than my babies, from same parent colony, being fed mashed up puppy chow and dainichi.
haha, don't let me down man!!! you haven't in the past!
Now see, if you would have had WF, the money would be in your account right now, but providing the big guy above is not ready for me yet, we're good to go.

Truth is the cement that holds the bricks and stones of a sane and civilized society together. Remove the former and the latter will crumble.
I used to have WF, customer since '93, but their customer service was horrible and they screwed me over multiple times, so I took my business elsewhere.
