These guys can get massive.. If someone wants to keep them healthy they need a 300 Gal Tank. Just my two cents..

Call Moody Gardens, and ask to speak to a rainforest curator. I know they already have an aropaima in grow-out for their renovated rain forest. See if they will take them.

I am aware that they get massive, I have them in a 240g right now. Once they get larger a person can put them in a larger tank/pond or give them to someone that will.

I'm gonna give them to my LFS, just wanted to see if someone might want them first.
