i hav a 40 gal. i guess 12" should be ok.. as i hav a 9-10" in my 30 ga; and it is quite comfortable... let me know if you are oksigpic

A 12" pleco is too big for a 30 or 40g tank. Seller: I'll take him and put him in my pond. Buyer: I have a 3-4" bristlenose pleco that I can give you.Scarecrow : I haven't got a brain... only straw.
