I would prefer you to be local. I just need 35 gallons of established water to get my tank going. I got bucket you got the water lets make it happen.

In terms of helping to speed up the cycle the vast majority of the beneficial bacteria is in the bio-film attached to the rocks and substrate. I'd ask for a cup of substrate or a chunk of rubble from someone's sump instead. If you are just cutting costs by scoring some free salt water--the more power to ya! Good luck with your set up.While I'm not reef ready, I am salt ernate lifestyle curious...
