Wanted or Trade: Filter and substrate.

I have just received a 55 Gallon tank and stand from a friend. I plan on using it to grow out some albino/weird convict fry and a Jack Dempsey. It had a HOB filter, but the filter does not work and I need one that does.

Any form of power filter will work as long as it can handle 5 cons and 1 JD [all from 1/2"-1"] and them growing out. HOB, Canister, or Wet Dry, it does not really matter as long as it fits the tank.

I have a couple of extra tanks and a heater I am willing to trade if needed. One is a 17g Bow Front and the other is a 20h. The heater is a 200W heater.

Also some pool filter sand would be awesome if anyone has any extra they can part with.
