Need fish donations for childrens church

hey everyone. I am looking for anybody that has a few extra fish floating around that they wouldnt mind donating to a childrens church in baytown. They have a 55g tank that has seen its better days but I have volunteered my services to the First Baptist church in baytown and they need some fish. They dont have a large budget to spend on aquariums so ive been trying to donate filter media, lights, etc. The kids love this tank. These are the fish im looking for:

Yellow labs
Electric blues
Peacocks
Demasoni
Angel Fish
Tetras
Goldfish
German Rams
anything else you have, just let me know
i plan on driving to the houston area either friday or saturday and i will pick up any donatsd fish

I dont mind donate some fish but I live up northwest.... and it's probably not worth the drive for you guys to come up here.

You're expecting free fish from this bunch? I would donate fish, but I don't have much of anything. The stuff I have are too aggressive, will outgrow a 55g, or they are way too small and will become fish food. I'd rather not donate my fish if they're not going to be in good care. Your location doesn't really help either. Pretty far from most of the members who do have the stuff you're looking for.

Is there a specific direction you're trying to go with this tank? I don't know about mixing the stuff on your list into a single 55g. Unless you're aiming for a fish massacre, then yeah that sounds perfect! :emt_thumbs: I would figure out what kind of fish the kids like the most and then ask for fish that would be compatible with them instead of trying to get Malawi fish and mixing with angels, tetras, and german rams.

i know you dont know me, but ive been in the fish game long enough to know what fish to mix and not mix. The Box just isnt the same...i remember generous folks that would do anything to help out their fellow fish nerd. oh well...

i have some fish to donate ,,,,

i have 1- 6 inch jack dempsey
1- 6 inch manuguese
4- 3 or 4 inch purplish blue chilids[ raised from fry ]
1 - 2 inch venestimas or something like that....
1 -3 in convict

they are all in a 55 gallon tank
