Do you need to get rid of a leaky tank?

I'm looking for a tank to house my old ball python in. Currently she's in a 40 gallon pink tub. A 40b or a 75g that's cracked or has a leaky seam would be fine. A 55 gallon is too narrow. I'm not in a rush, whenever I find a tank or cage, I'll close this thread.
